But At Least My Feet Are Dry!

At the beginning of this school year I purchased a pair of $139 hiking boots. Usually I scoff at the idea of spending so much for shoes, but today I have come to the revelation that these shoes are worth it.

Wow...so I wrote the above paragraph around eleven hours ago. Those past eleven hours have been the best eleven hours ever. So much has happened and some of it completely random, but it totally made today rock! Just to list a few things: I finished writing a 2000 word research paper, work and extrication (it's a fire department thing) class were both a breeze, I finished my pre lab, I found bumper stickers that I thought I had lost months ago (can someone say time to outfit The Jeep?!?), and I had plenty of time to go hang out with my wonderful girlfriend (who's adorable, by the way). This day was awesome.

To think, eleven hours ago my day was falling apart, but at least my feet were dry.

And So Begins Monday...

This is a sketch I came up with on Friday along with the TGIF sketch. Who knew that those two sketches would work so well for the beginning and end to my weekend! Now I don't have much to say at 5:33 in the morning, but I'm kind of glad I'm giving this a go. I have an A&P test and I'm hoping that by getting up this early to review I'll be awake and well studied by the time the test rolls around. We'll see how it goes. Anyways, I guess I can't complain about having to get back to desks, computers, and paper too much. We only have two days of school this week anyways until Thanksgiving break!!! So thankful for break. So so thankful.

Drawn in Survey of Chem (of course), but it reflects my thoughts about today perfectly. Ah....Friday.

(Also the main cloud kind of looks like Tigger's head to me. Anyone else? Anyone?)

Lazy Days of Landscape

This is the brainchild of our wonderful time sitting around at my landscape job. I present our idea: To get a live squirrel, put it down a leaf blower, and then shoot it at unsuspecting longboarders.

(The pond behind them is optional, but it would increase the fun meter!)

Men Whose Hats Look More Like Ships Than Their Ship

Begin the adventures of the men "Whose Hats Look More Like Ships Than Their Ship" and their trusty ship the U.S.S Bathtub.

So this is what happens when Survey of Chem takes too long... I can't really explain it, but for some reason I found it kind of funny.

Deflowering: You're doing it wrong.

(Sorry for being a tad vulgar, I didn't get much sleep the night before!)

Free Time

Or the lack thereof...

I find it amazing that some days I can stay on my feet from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. I find it incredible I can do this twice a week. For the past two months. My Tuesdays and Thursdays I have come to realize must have extra hours secretly placed throughout them when I'm not looking (Usually this happens during things like class or work instead of the more useful sleep hours I could use). Luckily enough for once I find myself relaxing in my dorm room until I head to work. In addition to this wonderful time I also have with me graham crackers and chocolate frosting. So delicious. I think it's a great treat to have in the dorm room. Along with our donuts, cocoa krispies, gummy bears, skittles, m&ms, pumpkin muffins, pumpkin pie, apple pie, and five pounds of Jelly Bellys (It might be down to three and a half or four). It's amazing how much sugar is contained within this small area, but hardly any of it is eaten. My roommate and I are usually out, and for some reason never feel the need to eat all this sugar (Which is probably a good idea since the freshman fifteen could attack at any time! (I'm pretty sure it lurks up there around the skittles...) I'm pretty sure Chris, my roommate, is hitting the gym enough (ladies...) to stay pretty safe, but I'm not so sure about how much time I spend actually doing something active. I guess firefighting sort of counts, but I still haven't done too much with that.

Ugh, one of these days I'll have to spend some time sitting down really putting some effort into a post. Maybe throw in some pictures or some quotes! Whatever the cool kids are doing these days. Unfortunately it would appear my break is coming to an end and therefore I must prepare for work. I think I should leave with something of substance, value, or maybe even heroic.
